Zack joined Carmel Capital Partners in June of 2021 where he supports private equity and real estate transactions. Prior to Carmel Capital Zack was employed at KPMG where he gained exposure to the M&A space through their transaction advisory group, providing financial diligence to middle-market private equity and strategic clients. His experience included transaction and advisory work across a variety of industries, including aerospace & defense, SaaS, industrial manufacturing, technology, and financial services. While at KPMG he spent a year working with their Infrastructure Advisory team where he provided public clients with objective views on underwritings and bidder selection, as well as strategic consulting support for public-private partnerships.

Zack joined KPMG directly from undergrad, where he received a dual degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech in 2017 and was an active member of the Rugby team and the business school’s diversity committee. Outside of work he enjoys cycling, golf and has begun surfing upon moving to San Diego in June.
