San Diego, California--(Newsfile Corp. - October 11, 2023) - Carmel Capital Partners, a boutique private wealth management firm headquartered in San Diego, welcomes institutional equity specialist Kevin E. Silverman, CFA®, as a Portfolio Manager. Silverman brings over 35 years of institutional-level investing experience to serve individuals, families, and business owners as part of the Carmel team.
Silverman began his career in 1981 and served as a distinguished analyst for over two decades, specializing in industrial, tech, and retail equities. In 2004, he was recruited to lead a former colleague's family office as Chief Investment Officer, where he managed portfolios through several different equity strategies and built a wealth management approach from the ground up based on modern portfolio theory. Silverman would go on to establish his own mutual fund before bringing that strategy to the renowned Chicago-based RIA, Sterling Partners, where he served for six years before joining Carmel in October 2023.
Silverman holds a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in addition to being a tenured CFA® charter holder.
